Ingleby Lodge is a beautiful family-owned 17th Century Yorkshire farm which has been carefully crafted into self-catering accommodation. Located in Upper Wensleydale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lodge is an excellent choice for those who want to explore in style.
With breathtaking views of the Dales in a superb central location, The properties sleeps up to 14 people and is suitable for family gatherings, groups or just couples who want to relax in this beautiful countryside. It is available all year round.
The Lodge itself is a spacious and comfortably furnished farmhouse which dates back to the English Civil War. It accommodates 9 people and is set in open farmland in a gloriously isolated South-facing position with splendid views of the surrounding countryside and fells beyond.
The Laithe is a recently converted barn at the east end of the Lodge. It accommodates 5 people and is a superb choice for smaller groups or couples.
N.B. Smoking is not allowed in either of the premises.
The Lodge and Laithe both have separate access and privacy is assured. For larger groups, a soundproof inter-connecting door can be unlocked to allow both buildings to be used as one.
We are situated approximately 2 miles from Askrigg and 4 miles from Hawes. Bainbridge, which is a traditional Yorkshire village with a local shop and pub, is within walking distance. We are an excellent base for walkers and those wishing to visit the historic market town of Richmond and the city of Ripon and its Cathedral. The market towns of Leyburn and Skipton are all within easy reach by car.
Beauty spots in the area are too numerous to detail in full, but include Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater, Malham Cove and Tarn, Hardraw Force, Buttertubs and the castles of Bolton and Middleham
